The Moloka'i Mud Bog app is developed and operated by BUJIFIED Hawaii LLC / Offices of Tylor Tanaka ("we," "us," "our"), based in Kaunakakai, Hawaii, in partnership with KMK Molokai LLC, which owns the event and event content featured in the app. BUJIFIED Hawaii LLC is responsible for the app and for handling your information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and your data retention and deletion options.
Information We Collect
- ▸Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create a fan account.
- ▸Content you submit: Chat messages, reactions, photos, or any other content you share in the app.
- ▸Push notification tokens: When you enable push notifications, we collect a device push token from your device. This token is used solely to send you event announcements and race updates. It is stored on our servers and deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account.
- ▸Usage information: Basic technical data such as device type and app activity, used to keep the app working properly.
About racer information: Racer profiles, vehicle details, and racer photos shown in the app are entered by event staff based on information racers provide when registering for the event — they are not collected through this app. Racers who want their information corrected or removed can email us at

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
How We Use Your Information

Device Permissions
The app may request the following device permissions. Each permission is requested only at the time you perform an action that requires it. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings.
- ▸Camera: Requested only when you choose to take a photo within the app. We never access your camera in the background.
- ▸Photo Library: Requested only when you choose to upload a photo from your library. We never access your photo library in the background.
- ▸Microphone: Declared as a system requirement but not actively used by this app in its current version. No audio is ever recorded or transmitted.
- ▸Location: Declared as a system requirement but not actively used by this app in its current version. We do not collect or store your location.
- ▸Contacts: Declared as a system requirement but not actively used by this app in its current version. We do not access, read, or store your contacts.
- ▸Calendar & Reminders: Declared as a system requirement but not actively used by this app in its current version. We do not access or modify your calendar or reminders.
- ▸Push Notifications: We request permission to send you push notifications about event announcements and live race updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings or from within the app. Disabling notifications removes your push token from our servers.
Sharing
We share information only with:
- ▸Our event partner, KMK Molokai LLC, for event administration purposes (such as racer registrations, event rosters, and results)
- ▸Service providers that help us run the app (such as hosting and image storage providers), only as needed to operate it
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your Choices and Rights
- ▸Delete your account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from the Settings page in the app.
- ▸Disable notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device Settings or within the app. Your push token will be removed from our servers immediately.
- ▸Access or correction: Email us at info@bujified.com to request a copy of your data or to correct it.
- ▸Content removal: You may delete photos and content you have uploaded at any time.
Data Retention and Deletion
- ▸Account data (name, email, password hash) is retained until you delete your account. Upon deletion, all account data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days.
- ▸Push notification tokens are retained only while your account is active and you have notifications enabled. They are immediately deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account.
- ▸Chat messages and uploaded content may remain visible to other users until explicitly deleted by you or removed by our moderation team.
- ▸Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, then automatically deleted.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
